Father in law has the 1st generation of battery backup Liftmaster garage door openers.
Newer models have the battery inserted into the actual unit instead of sitting on top of the unit like this battery
His battery started to beep every few minutes.
Power cycle did nothing to correct.

Purchased this battery and after installing everything was back to 100% working. No beeps

My back up battery light turned red after 5 years so I needed it replaced. I had the option of buying two new batteries and putting it in the unit but i would have had to solder the connection but then I found this. It easily replaced my own unit and after charging it has been flawlesss. Very pleased.
